NIED Technical Note for seismic hazard assessment has been published
NIED Technical Note No.490 “Improved Seismic Hazard Assessment after the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake (Part2)” has been published.
This report summarizes the method for preparing the National Seismic Hazard Map 2020, which was released by the Earthquake Research Committee of Japan in March 2021 as the culmination of studies to improve the seismic hazard assessment after the National Seismic Hazard Map 2014.
